That is my question, which mixer would you choose? which do you prefer and why? I already have an 800 but i'm thinking of selling it and getting a the xone92.
Just wanted some general thoughts, advice and opinions really.

I hate using the X-Zone 92 but it does have a better sound quality on a club sound system. In my opinion you can do far more with the DJM 800 with the effects and the fact it's also a midi controller is a no brainer for me. The X-Zone is a 1 trick pony, stick with the pioneer mate -)

Pioneer all the way mate.
One of the clubs I used to play at had the A&H and had a few problems with it over the year or so I was there.
I have a DJX700, but will certainly be upgrading soon to the 800 :)

The pioneer it is, i think i was just getting bored, you know them times when you think 'i'll get me one of them' when you don't even need it, it was one of them.
Thanks fellas :)

Until another brand of dj mixer can produce a product with the flexibility and versatility of the DJM800 effects controls, it's unlikely that it'll beaten in the club, even if the Xone's sound better. Even the new DJM2000 looks a bit strange, with a touch screen and controls in the middle. Anyone used it and does it supercede the 800?

Update.......
I've ended up going with pioneer and picking up the djm 700 for 850 us dollars

Im having the same issue, are the effects on the 800 all that usefull? I used to have the cdj-200's and the effects were a joke. I would prefer sound quality over a few fx that arent usefull.
On a side note what about the xone 32?

Its a toss up! The Xone 92 is said to have better sound quality...but to be honest after hearing both a DJM 800, and a Xone 92 on a Funktion 1 sound system..I cannot for the life of me tell the difference! i believe its more hype than anything!
...but for me the biggest difference was the EQ sensitivity...I noticed on the pioneer even slight tweeks of any of the three bands yields a HUGE difference in output! But I do love the the EQ on the a&h bc its less sensitive...but the 4 band EQ...its a bit much for me! but I guess with 4 bands the eq knobs can be less sensative because each knob covers a smaller freq range!
But i do love to use a lot of effects when i play...and i do not use any sort of laptop...so in some sense I prefer the djm 800.
its like..if they could take the effects (and filter configuration) of the DJM 800, and combine it with the EQ setup of the Xone 92...bingo! Ill pay any price for that!
