hi all

i had the following user complaint and wanted to find out if anyone else was having the same problem. if so i will update the colour of the font accordingly.

Issue:

Hi there, when typing a message I'm finding the cursor very hard to see as it's nearly the same colour as the background, a much lighter shade of grey or white would be a great improvement. :)

Hmmm. I can see what s/he means now I'm looking at it, I really like the colours for reading though.

If theres anyway you can just change the blinking cursor when your writing a reply that'd be good.

I think the problem lies in the message box. When you write in the message box, the text is black which you can see fine on the light grey background, but the cursor is the same colour as the 'posted messages font' which needs to be on the dark grey backgound to be seen properly.

I find if you want to correct a typo in your message, it's hard to see where the cursor is.

I've just been on another site that uses exactly the same colour scheme for the main forum, and in their Message Text Box they have a white background with black font and black cursor which makes everything very legible. I hope this helps.:)

thank you for the feedback -

i think its really important to involve the forum members when making changes - which is why i asked.

i will have a look into this now and change it.

will keep you updated.

so i have changed the background colour to white - which i def thinks improves the visibility.

let me know if this is good for you all :)
