Using lyrics in a track (permissions etc)

Hi all

I am currently making a track which I think may get signed. The thing is I'm using a sample from "feel my drums" by Laurent Wolf (i think).

Does anyone know if this causes a lot of hassle for labels?

It can do, i'm sure the label will either put it in the contract that if anything comes of it then it falls with you, or they will try and clear it with laurent wolfs label, or just wing it. Unless you're going to be top of the pop charts i don't think it's too much of a problem.
