WOW! Not even my nord or virus made me this happy. How do NI do it!

I plugged it in, i got hypnotized by the lights, i fired up traktor and it rocked it!!

Haven't got my head totally into it yet, but first impressions are amazing. Great build, very sexy, great that its so slim, (i also bought the carry bag which doubles as a platform so it will sit at the same level as the mixers in the clubs).

Will report more when i give it a good run through.

Its bang on!!

yeah, mine arrived today as well - just roadtested it in a club as well...

Feels brilliant - very tactile, and almost accomplishes a complete bridge between DJ and laptop... only 2 things I'm not sure about - would like to be able to select different playlists from the panel, either with buttons or scrolling through the favourites (f keys) with one of the encoder knobs and a modifier.... also the playback keys doubling as hotcues have caught me out twice already! I can see quite a few people gigging with these suddenly wondering why the music's stopped!

I guess it's just going to be a case of getting used to it, and getting the best use out of it (and I'm definitely going to buy another :D)

It's a wonderful controller and personally the best out there for traktor pro. I have used the fader fox dx2's and the Allen and Heath zone 1d's, and the x1 beats them both.

They're very robust, feel great and give
you easy/quick options to really manipulate a track e.g intuiive looping controls, good fx knobs and controls which really allow you to be creative. If you watch some video tutorials from native instruments you can really do some great tricks and effects with them.

I would get them if I was you, the biggest plus is that it's made
by NI, which means it's going to get serious attention from them in terms of help/advice/tutorials etc. Also, it just plug and plays, no midi leads, setup files etc. Very simple, which is a bonus when you're
in the booth.

Hope that helps.
